Having previously faced Smith’s Hill High School in the round of 16 in 2022 and once again in the quarter final of 2023, Caringbah once again found themselves drawn against the familiar opposition. With the score locked at 0-0 at half time, the match was on a knife’s edge. Throughout the second half, the boys displayed their tenacity and rapid attacking football which had progressed them this far into the competition. Unfortunately, the game didn’t go our way and Smith’s Hill capitalised on their chances. The match ended 3-0 and our superb knockout run sadly came to an end. The boys should be proud of their achievement and hold their heads high! Qualifying for the last 16 in the state is a rare achievement. The excellent knockout run of 2025 will be remembered for many years to come!
